We’re going back to another hip-hop artist this week. With school coming to a close, we are looking forward to summer and with that, the Soundset music festival on May 29. On that note, we’re featuring one of the artists that will be performing at Soundset, Blueprint. Blueprint is a rapper from Columbus, Ohio and is signed to the independent Minneapolis hip-hop label, Rhymesayers Entertainment. Rhymesayers is a very popular label with hip-hop fanatics everywhere. Other popular artists on this label include Atmosphere, Brother Ali, and P.O.S. Early in his career, Blueprint collaborated with popular dj, RJD2, under the name Soul Position. Gaining attention, they signed with Rhymesayers Entertainment. So far Blueprint has founded his own label, and released numerous albums. Blueprint just released his newest album, “Adventures in Counter-Culture,” a month ago on April 5. Hope you enjoy our Artist of the Week, Blueprint.
